The Bounce Patrol app

This section covers the iOS and Android app "Bounce Patrol: Nursery Rhymes", and is the policy published at privacy.bouncepatrol.app.

The app collects no personal information. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Everything your child taps stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing personal. The app does not ask for, collect, or store any personal information. Specifically there are no accounts, sign-ups, names or email addresses; no advertising and no ad networks; no analytics or usage-tracking tools; no location data; and no third-party trackers of any kind.

What stays on your device

A few preferences are saved only on your device so the app remembers how you left it, like favourite songs, settings, screen-time limits, and any videos saved for offline play. This information never leaves the device and is never sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app removes it.

Internet connection

To play songs, videos and games, the app downloads them from our content servers, hosted on Cloudflare. Like any request to load a web page or video, our hosting provider may briefly process your device's IP address purely to deliver the content. We do not use this to identify, profile or track children, and we do not build any record of who watched what.

Subscriptions

Premium access is sold as a subscription through the app store you bought it from. The store processes every payment; we never handle or see your card details. You can view, change or cancel a subscription any time in your Apple or Google account settings.

The two stores differ in what they share with us. Apple does not share your name or email; we only ever see anonymous, aggregated sales figures. Google may make limited order information available, such as your name and email address, so we can manage purchases, refunds and billing questions. We use it only for that, never for advertising, and we do not share it.

Family device linking

Optional. If your family subscribes on one kind of device and wants to use the subscription on another, a parent can link the two with a short code from the grown-ups area. To confirm the subscription is real and active, our linking service processes an anonymous purchase identifier provided by the app store. That identifier is encrypted, is not connected to any name, email or device identifier, is never used for advertising or tracking, and is deleted automatically about 60 days after the subscription lapses. If you never use it, nothing is sent at all.

Children's privacy

This app is intended for the Kids category. It collects no personal information from children. Purchases sit behind a parental gate, so a child cannot subscribe on their own. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for a parent to request, review or delete from us.

Sharing

We don't sell, rent or share personal information. The only third parties involved are the app stores, which process subscriptions, and our hosting provider, which delivers the videos and runs the optional device-linking service.

This website

We don't run analytics on this site, and we don't set cookies or tracking pixels of our own. Nothing here knows who you are until you type something in.

The contact form

This opens your own email app with the message pre-filled. Nothing is sent to us until you press send in your email app, and then we simply receive an email from you.

Buying a gift card

Payment is handled by Stripe, so we never see your card number. Stripe collects your email address to send you a receipt, under their own policy.

When a payment succeeds we keep a record of the order: the reference Stripe gives it, the gift code we issued, the email address that code was sent to, the amount, and the country the order came from. We keep it so we can help if a code goes missing, and we use the email address to send the code and for nothing else.

If you ask us to send the card straight to the person it is for, we use the address you give us once, to send them the code. Anything else you type, their name, your name, and your message, is used only to write that email.

Personalised video messages

Ordered on our video-message site, never from inside the app. The details you type, your child's first name, the occasion, and how to say the name, are used for one thing: so the cast can record that video. Payment is handled by Stripe, and your email address is used to send the unlock code. Order details are deleted automatically about 13 months after purchase.

Other companies

Some pages load things from elsewhere, which will see your visit under their own policies: Google Fonts, and the App Store and Google Play badges.
